Do I need channel bundling?

For use in a hotspot there is no further need for this feature, because the CAR-A-WAN re-routes all packages to the actual best working network, comparing always the network situation. Its like network load balancing, but using a bullet proof mechanism called "equal cost multi path", or short ECMP.

If you're looking for a solution with broadband uploads we offer a special channel bundeling service, which can be ordered with all CAR-A-WAN equipped with 4 or more modules and is economical with more than five CAR-A-WAN.

This service has to be placed as a dedicated machine running Linux and should be placed at the edge of your network.

Note: This machine needs four public IP-Adresses for inbound traffic and two NICs.
